Daoshu: Wudang Daoist Arts in Oxford, UK

5 Seasons workshops & wuxing theory

Shotover Hill in North East Oxford has been my 'Xiao Wudang' for a number of years now and I will be running workshops for small groups on the weekend to mark out each season, as conceptualised within the Daoist Wuxing (5 Elements) system. A unique collection of Qi Gong sequences and Tai Ji/Gong Fu forms/skills will be chosen to be in harmony with the qualities, energies and conditions of each season. To parallel traditional training in the wilds of Wudang Mountain, these workshops will take place in secluded wooded slopes on Shotover Hill, where the training experience will be intricately linked to surrounding diversity in nature and its apprehension through all the senses.

The next workshop will be Spring/Wood, and will be a special 2 day Daoshu 10th Anniversary workshop on Wudang Dan Jian Sword (see
