Stories from wudang
As the days are getting colder and darker, it is time for stories!
Each week, 15th Generation Wudang San Feng Pai Master, Zhong Xue Chao (Master Bing, Wudang Dao Cultural Institute) tells 2 stories to Instructor Giles Yeates (Wudang Arts, Oxford, UK). One story from the myths and legends of Wudang, and one story from Master Bing’s early days of training on the mountain.
How do the themes of this week’s stories connect with you? Have they had an impact on your training, either this week or in the past? Share your experiences in the comments and we’ll incorporate some of them in next week’s video!

Lockdown conversations:
During lockdown conditions as a result of COVID 19, it can be hard to train in Wudang Martial Arts when there are no local classes to join, and training has to be done at home. It can be hard to begin a journey of training and cultivation, maintain existing training, and develop oneself further. Becoming ill during this time as a result of COVID 19 or other conditions can make the journey even harder.
In this video series, Daoshu instructor Giles Yeates records some brief conversations with key people in his community of Wudang teachers and promoters of Wudang culture.
